These were taken a while ago by Ruth Anne !!!

Didn't want to add these pictures till around Christmas in the hope that the family back in SA would receive some of these pics via mail before I post them but sadly they haven't so here you go, got to post them now. These were taken by Ruth Anne which is a 17 year old that used to work with me at Church At Charlotte, she loves photography and well we love her taking pics of the girls.

Not often you get a family pic like this and I don't love this one but oh well as I said you don't often get a pic of all of us so here you go.

Just the man and I :-)

Amber was so not going to play along today and it wasn't making Jade happy and this was just the start of our little photo session :-)

Taking pics of Amber while Jade was changing into her next outfit.

Love what she did with the color on this one :-)

She gave us a bunch of black and whites too which I love especially with Jade in this dress as the red color to me looks yucky in the pics, looks different for real, oh I don't know ...

And we so did not have the right shoes for this dress, they should have been cream but try finding cream shoes here this time of the year, no way !!! I tried !!!

Their dresses didn't match here like I thought they would but oh well.

This is my absolute favorite !!!

Love, love, love this one too, my three most favorite people in the world.

This dress is so cute, wish it had long sleeves though so she could have worn it more over this festive season.

And this one was a little blur I love it :-)

This one looks so like the ones that Ruth Anne took almost a year ago but well my little girls is 8 now ... well 7 here but you know what I mean :-)

I love the black and whites, I know I have said that before but the last two of the kids are so natural and were taken while I was almost saying goodbye to Ruth Anne :-) Love the way they look with the Christmas stuff behind them.

This is one of my favorites of Amber.

Last but not least.

Hope you enjoyed these ... as I said some we printed for the folks back home so this will spoil it a little for you, sorry :-(

Christmas Decorations At The Kropman House 2010

I know the family in SA have been asking for pictures of the house and all the Christmas decorations and over the last couple of weeks I have been taking pics, some with an old camera some with a new camera but hopefully they all show how much I love this season.

Yep Dave worked hard on the outside, this year by himself, since last year his dad was here to help ... I know he missed him big time but I sat out there sorting out my wreaths and kept him company, hoping and more praying that he would be safe up that ladder and on the roof. Not too much new from last year but we were trying to make it look a bit different so the pics don't all look the same.

Now this is new :-) I had one of these hangers at my last house but recently bought a second one and decorated them with Christmas flowers for the door, I wanted to add a nice big bow but it didn't happen, maybe that will be the change for next year (hehehe0 !!!

This was a good pic that Dave took, he opened our double door front door and took a picture in :-)

Night time view ... all the hard work was worth it right ? But I think for next year I am buying Dave that very expensive long ladder so he can get those two final peaks :-)

Just a night shot of my mantle and tree.

Night picture taken from our second floor.

Showing how I decorated the bannister's, used different bows this year but it didn't turn out great ... maybe I will use my bow maker next year and make something totally different !!! What are the chances ?

Here's a close up of the bows, thought they would stick out more than the red ones I used last year ... but not so much :-(

From the front door downstairs.

Jades tree in her room, we had to put it up on her dresser so Amber couldn't get to it but in all honesty, Amber really hasn't touched much like I thought she would, amazing !!! Jade decorated this herself, I still need to get her little nativity scene to stand up though.

Just random other pics of decoration around the house ...

This container is always in front of my fireplace and every season I change the flowers out, only usually you cannot see the back of it so don't see the empty glass containers as much as you do on this couch table so I had to make a plan so add the cotton wool for 'snow' :-) Ok ok ... I know I am not creative but I try ok :-)

The girls both have their own advent calendars that I get them every year, Jade has a princess one which she turned her nose up at since she is so not into the princess's but that is all they had and Amber got a Minnie Mouse one, but this one I put out every year, wish the little holes weren't so little though, really only Hershey kisses go in there :-(

My nativity scene, one day is one day I will be able to afford a nice big set but for now while Amber is still little if she breaks one of these there is no train smash !!! But now ... don't encourage her ok !!!

A close up minus Baby Jesus though, let's hope this year I remember to put him there on Christmas Day :-(

All the family pics on the tree and there's one of my Snowbabies for those that keep asking what they are ? I will save you the boredom of posting too many pics of them, just love them though.

Now I don't like how these turned out but am too lazy to change them I will change them next year.

Now this was a new purchase or the tray was anyway, I love it and think if I can keep it up, I will change the decorations on it every season :-) I already have a plan for Valentines Day !!!

Now those stockings are new too, don't totally love them but they will do for now, actually bought them at the after Christmas sale last year for next to nothing and then a girls I work with, Lyna ... she is so talented, anyway she has a fancy machine that put the first letter of all our names on them so now they look ok ... yeah ok for now till I find something nicer then I can alternate years.

I know my inlaws hated all the candy last year but this is the season for candy and so much of it is only seasonal so we can't miss out right. Normally I put out nuts too, in or out of their shells, Dave and Jade love the ones in the shell but I know the doctors here don't like babies to have nuts until two and these guys mess so much with the nuts that I am think I might just give it a skip this year, I am sure there will be lots of protesting but we will see.

Ok saved the best for last ... just throwing this one in for my mom and dad that say they never get pics of me :-) Happy Holidays everyone, I am sure there will be lot's more Christmas pics loaded throughout the month. Ruth Anne actually came over this weekend to take some pics of the girls so when I get those I will add some of them too, excited about that.

Remember to scroll down just in case you missed my updates earlier this weekend.

Jade First Reconcilliation - December 4th 2010

Last was Jades First Reconciliation at St Matthews Catholic Church. What a big night for our baby girl, a night she made us very proud.

Thanks to my girlfriend Pam who watched Amber at home, we managed to make this evening all about Jade, we went out for a special dinner with her before hand which was fun, I had forgotten how easy eating out could be without a baby with us.

Anyway below she is lighting her candle that she made at the retreat she and I attended a few weeks ago, unfortunately it was so very crowded around this table, Dave did not get her actually lighting her candle which is sad since it was very cute but anyway. This candle burnt through the service and afterwards they got to blow them out and take them home. I am actually surprised the church let over 300 candles burn out there while the service was on since recently there was a fire at the church while they were putting up Christmas decorations and there was $250 000 worth of fire damage done :-( but anyway thank God all went well.

There were two services, one on Thursday and our one on the Friday, we apparently were the bigger of the two services and there were over 300 kids at this service. Here you can see some of them singing a song which was very cute. We did video it and will post it when I get a change to load it online. Jade tried to get in the front but was really hidden so sadly we couldn't see too many of the actions to the song but anyway it sounded very cute and it was very meaningful.

There were 17 priests from all over that sat around the church to listen to these little 'angels' make their first confessions, Jade really got lucky and got Monsignor McSweeney which we all love and she got to sit on the alter too which also to me was a big deal. He was the same priest that baptised Amber so now he means even more to us. These pictures didn't come out great but at least you get an idea right ? Oh and you are probably thinking how could they do that in the open but they were playing music so you couldn't hear any of the kids ... so it was nice to witness. It was all very emotional for Jade which even had me in tears, she cried a little with nerves before going up but she was full of pride and joy afterwards, wow, what an evening.

Outside the church they had set up for a craft fair that was going to run the next day and they had some fun things for the kids to have their pictures taken at so Dave took a few :-)

Well that is the first big step on her Catholic Journey, next step is her First Holy Communion, I guess I better start hunting for that mini wedding dress, gloves a tiara and fancy shoes, people here go all out ... David is gonna die, oh well it's for a good cause right !!!

Jade, mom and dad are very proud of you baby girl, love you lots.

Gymnastics Medal Test 2010

Remember to scroll down ok so you don't miss out on anything, I am doing lots of updates today ...

This was Jades before leaving for her parents observation day and medal testing at gymnastics. First Christmas Tree pic :-) first of many I am sure.

Thankgiving 2010

What a wonderful break, Dave took Wednesday and Friday of which he never does but it really made for a nice break.

Thursday we spent the afternoon with a huge group of neighbors that all brought Thanksgiving food to share, my gosh enough to feed an army !!! We had a wonderful time with them, we really have been blessed living in this neighborhood, what wonderful people we are surrounded with. Dave and I even got a break when the older kids wanted to look after Amber for a while, Amber loves playing with the bigger kids so she did well with them !!!

David brought Amber back home at bedtime and Jade and I stayed to play a cool game of cards, 7 up and down which everyone thoroughly enjoyed, thanks so much to everyone that contributed to a very memorable Thanksgiving, hopefully this is just start of what's to come here in Lawson.

Friday which was Black Friday, Dave decided there was not much he couldn't get online so I was lucky enough to go out at some crazy time and get some shopping of my own done. I was in the Mall by 6am which was hours after the stores opened but man I am so not a morning person so I was not getting up any earlier than that. I got a few Christmas gifts but mainly good deals on clothing for the entire family but me, gosh sometimes it sucks being a mom right ??? Oh well, just glad I got to spoil the family a little.

Saturday I decided I still wanted to do Thanksgiving for us at home, Thanksgiving just isn't Thanksgiving if you haven't cooked a Turkey or Ham so Ham it was, here are two pics of our yummy feast, doesn't my ham look great, best one ever and thankfully there is lots of left overs frozen for later yummy meals.

Another Thanksgiving down ... oh and I am doing lots of updates again so remember to scroll up and down so you don't miss anything ok :-)

Just a cute pic of the girls and I one evening before bedtime !!!
