Jades First Cheer Parade !!!
SCROLL.
Saturday the 1st of October was Jades first cheer parade. There was great excitement in the family to get her all dressed up in her new cheer uniform so she could go off to join some friends in the parade while her family cheered and watched from the sidelines.
The parade was pretty lame, small town parade but the girls had a ball.
She is so excited the uniform is blue, she says it is the best color for her eyes :-) and she is right of course.
Not the greatest group shot but one of them I took of the girls, not all Jades squad but all competition squad girls. Cute right ?
Ok yay ... I am up to date :-) for now anyway.

Just put out a few things for Fall and Halloween, didn't put lights up this year, passing on that this time around. Wish I had bought more of those hanging things for the trees but I bought them the end of the season last year so nope ... can't just go get more :-(
Need to buy bigger ones like this so it looks like people sitting in those chairs, maybe at closeout this year :-)
My little model girl ... or should I say ... my other little model girl (hehehe) look when I zoomed in, I was just taking pics of the house and she obviously thought I was taking pics of her, look at her new favorite pose :-)

Dressed For School.

Amber has the most amazing olive skin, she is going to be so blessed having that skin, Jade is so fair but tans so well thank God, Dave of course is almost allergic to the sun, he has two colors, lobster red and white so am so very thankful my girls take after me a little more in this department.
Anyway, don't like posting nude pics but had to show you just how brown she was and this was after not being at the pool for quite a while so she was darker, and YES she did have factor 50 on all the time, I promise !!!
Oh don't mind the crazy hair, that's how it looks every morning before she baths.

Ambers First Day Of Preschool.

This was Ambers first day of preschool. She is only going to go two mornings a week, the two mornings I don't work, to give me a break which has been a joke so far, I have been so overwhelmed at work that I have used these two days to play catch up at home or to do prep for the next work day, hopefully though in time it will get better.
She was wearing a Dora outfit that she picked herself, all into Dora now which is way better than being into Spongebob with her sister :-(

Almost toppling over with that huge backpack on. A Dora backpack that is.
The first day was so hard to drop her off, she is so used to the classroom environment where I work that I knew she would be fine but the other kids in the class, there was so much crying and Amber is a sympathetic crier which had me worried but she whimpered a minute or two after I left and she was fine, my kids thank God have always been so well adjusted and easy :-) Three weeks down the line we weren't allowed to walk them in anymore and we had to do the carpool drop off, now Amber had never experienced this before and it didn't go well, I eventually dropped her off and drove away in tears myself but after she knew I would come back and get her, the second day and so on went well ... again thank God for my easy going kids. Love you baby girls.

Shame usually we go away for his birthday weekend but with Jades cheer now, there really isn't much time for us to take a break anytime :-( guess that comes with commitment to sport right. Anyways so dinner and cake was pretty much the birthday for this year.

First Day Of 3rd Grade.

I know I said she doesn't wear dresses to school but it's the first day ... some casual skirts may work but with my rough child that wants to be on the field playing soccer ever day, got to dress her better than this.
She looks so tanned in this lighting, she is but not this tanned :-)

Teacher Orientation Day

Just some pics of the girls on the day before Jade started school this year, Jade wanted to dress up to go meet her new teacher. She doesn't wear dresses to school or anything else other than sneakers so it's a treat to dress up pretty for her teacher to see her look just a little different :-)
Oh my gosh she just looks so grown up here, not my little 8 year old at all.
Get ready for a marathon of girls pics ...
Her hair got really blond this Summer ... thankfully it stayed in good shape so we didn't have to cut too much off it at the end of Summer.
Gosh with all the poses, what have I turned my girls into ? They both love the camera, only problem is that sometime the smiles aren't natural at all, just all a put on to get it over and done with ... these thankfully were not too bad.
The usual indoor fireplace shot ... I really need to get more creative, sorry you guys.
Time for Amber to get in on the action !!!

What's so funny is she was watching Jade pose for all her pics and now she was doing all these movements for me to take pics of here ... I just about killed myself laughing, if you think Jade is growing up fast, it's nothing compared to Amber !!!
