Pictures Taken By Ruth Anne Ritter !!!

Ok get ready for a marathon of pictures taken by Ruth Anne Ritter. Ruth Anne is a teenager that I work with at Church At Charlotte, what an awesome kid, anyway she loves photography and has such a good eye for it, she took picture at Jades birthday party if you remember but these pictures were taken especially since Ruth Anne and her dad will be travelling to Haiti the first week of March and what she was doing is spending an hour with you and your family taking pictures for a small donation which she will be taking to Haiti with her and putting to good use, I think that is so great, what a big heart :-) We were just glad we could help her in this small way and get some good pics to show for it ... what a bonus.

I have always known Jade to have pretty blue eyes but these pics really make her eyes pop, wow !!!

Finally some of Amber but don't get too excited there aren't too many coz she cried from beginning to end, you know at home she is such a smiley child but put her in front on anyone elses camera and she totally freaks out. She screamed so much I am surprised we actually got some of her, ok in 99 % of the pics you can see her teary eyes but still.

Also it was so cold outside and they were in short sleeves that I am surprised it didn't scare the cry out of her (hehehe), if you get what I am saying.

This carriage will never be the same after my big baby sat in it ... I was so worried she sould topple over but she was happy in there and well while she was happy I was not going to mess with that :-)

Wow I am done and that took me forever !!! You won't hear from me for a while I need a break after that but hopefully there is enough pics there to keep you going for a while. Hey maybe if there is more snow, who knows but no promises.

Few Odd Pics ...

About two weeks ago now we had a dusting of snow which was great excitement for the kids, Jade spent the entire Saturday outside playing, only coming home for a change of clothing or gloves, thanks to Tonya I had some good snow clothing which she changed into later which allowed her to stay out longer ... and she would pop over to Colleen for hot chocolate every so often ... thanks Colleen.

School was actually cancelled on the Monday due to the snow which isn't great, it seemed great at the time but now this coming Monday is Presidents Day which would have been a day off school but now they have to make up the snow day so ... so much for a long weekend.

Apparently we are going to get some more snow this weekend so we will see :-) Dave missed the last snow coz of being in India so I am sure he is hoping for snow :-)

This is one of the two enclosures we have up for Amber, this is downstairs in our great room next to the breakfast area and kitchen ... as long as she can see me in the kitchen and can see the Wonder Pets or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse she is ok in there for a while, the other one is upstairs in our media room but when we are in there she has the run of the room so it's only if I need to run and do something quickly, it's a safe place for her to be.

As in this picture sometimes Jade has to be in there to keep her occupied for a few minutes when she gets ratty, but I think Jade enjoys playing with all her old toys even though she won't really admit it :-)



This was the first time Amber pulled up by herself and well Dave was in India so he missed it :-( but anyway I took a few pics but in this one it was like 'look mom no hands' or she was waving, what do you think ?



She actually did so much in the 10 days he was away it was amazing, she started crawling so much better and faster, she was pulling up on stuff, she said mama and baba and very much to Daves disgust no dada but I told him, he has to talk to her and tell her that ... no one else is going to do that (hehehe). Obviously mama as she says it now is just mama and maybe not me but at least in time she will learn it is me. She now also know the NO word which is very cute, at first I got a smile and a laugh every time I said it, now I get a pouty lip and she listens which is great, didn't think she would get that that quickly. So wow ... we are getting there, she was a slow starter but now is ahead of the race and might even beat her sister to walking which mommy is so not ready for ... gosh !!!

This picture is so cute, Dave arrived back in the evening so after his show he passed out on the sofa and the girls cuddled with him. This is priceless !!! He said he had a terrible time there and just couldn't tell me enough how much I would have died there and how glad I can be I didn't do this business trip. All I can say is thank God he is back safely and how much I hated single parenthood ... to be able to go to the bathroom and shower without everyone following me ... now that's priceless :-)



Ok I know this one is blur but it was just so cute, I was at the Lego Store in Concorde Mills and she was playing with all the large Lego blocks and pulled up here ... like such a big kid :-)

She loves her bath but let's hope that come Summer she loves the pool water too coz man last Summer I missed out big time and am all ready to be at the pool every day come end of May ... also we are taking a trip down to Florida in June which I am very excited about so hopefully she play along then too, babies and the beach, not so sure but if all else fails we will just hang out at Johns pool or at the resort we are staying at but really I hope it turns out fine, we first have to survive the long road trip down there. Hold thumbs for that.

Thanks to selling both our South African timeshares we are getting two weeks vacation out of it this year, one in June as mentioned above and then a Thanksgiving trip to Myrtle Beach which is not the best time of the year to go to the beach but we are staying in a nice resort and if all else fails we will just hang out there, at least for once I won't have to cook for Thanksgiving ... unless Dave thinks the unit with a full kitchen means I will still have to cook ... yeah yeah, in his dreams (hehehe).

Not sure when next I will update, in a little over a week Dave goes off to India on a business trip, I am not looking forward to that ... it scares me half to death that he is going to a country where they don't take lightly to Americans, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers that he is brought back to us safely.

Last Pictures Taken In 2009 !!!

Don't have much time to do an update but thought before I get too behind I would quickly add some pictures.

These were taken New Years Eve I think if I remember correctly before we went off to our block party with neighbors which was great :-) And Amber played along great too and was still up, very much awake and happy with us all at 12h30 so we all had a great evening :-)



Here Jade is showing off that they are wearing the same skirt, I found a few matching outfits for the girls which Jade just loves :-) Also you can see she is getting a bit bolder with Amber and mom is getting braver, I will stop there.



Ok this was just before the major face plant (hehehe) ok seriously I have to laugh or I will cry, poor Amber, she seemed ok with it until Jade let go the handle and she fell face first. Amber is going through the wars right now but hopefully she is a toughy like her big sister.
