Well it has been two months and more since I last updated and in that time Blogger has changed up their site so much I have absolutely no idea how to use it and well I have just been putting this off for the longest time coz I hate to work on something I don't know how to use and just not being able to change my background shot to make it more Summery well ... just frustrating to me, anyways let's see how this goes ...
Ok so the last time I published anything was just before Ambers birthday so I guess the first thing I need to post is a few birthday pics ... to back up a little, by the time it was Ambers birthday we had my brothers SA'n friend Jason, his wife Caz, their 5 year old Luke and daughter Jenna that was 3 staying with us a week so things were very out of sorts for us all so really poor Amber didn't get the royal treatment like we try and do over here on her birthday this year, in fact we really only celebrated her birthday as a family about two weeks after they left and did birthday presents then so yeah thank God she is young and didn't realize any of it but I told Dave, next year we are doing a big party for Amber coz really Jade got a party every year and we haven't done much for Amber at all, guess it sucks being the second child in that regard and all the hand me downs she gets ... poor kid !!! So yeah back to her birthday, we did cake and I bought her a balloon bouquet and we went to Fiesta Plaza to play but that was pretty much it as birthdays go, sorry babygirl, feel bad about all that !!! This is a grainy pic too but it's coz I zoomed in and really didn't have any great pics of my birthday girl. Anyways she was full of bruises, can't remember what this was for, blue under the chin and bloody lip ... story of my life with Amber she really is a little accident waiting to happen every day around here.
This one was of her with her balloon bouquet which lasted forever actually, she has been a huge tangled fan, in fact I wanted to do her big girl room as a Repunzel theme but all the comforters had such weird eyes that we went with something different, more on that later.
Amber with her birthday cake ... can't remember if this was take one, two or three or four, you know at this age, they love the candles.
This was the only half decent pic of Jade in any of these pics, not sure why but we had crazy faces in most of these pics :-(
I was so sure in this country of abundance that I would have no problem going out and getting a Rapunzel cake well ... yeah firstly I left it till last minute so the store I went to only had princess cakes no actual Repunzel cake but oh well she was happy with her cake all the same, to me it just added to the 'mess up' of this birthday.
On the same day Jason bought their new car ... Jenna liked to hide from the camera too so sadly I didn't get a decent pic of the whole car and the whole family looking forward but anyway ... here you go, these were our visitors for 2 weeks, we were happy to see them off on Mothers Day with a full Uhaul trailer of goodies donated by us and neighbors and friends so as to make their new start in Austin Texas a little easier !!!
